Canyonville, Oregon

Located midway between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountain Range resides the rural town of Canyonville. This vibrant, small community is nestled in Oregon's scenic southwest region at the base of Canyon Creek Mountain Pass and adjacent to the South Umpqua River.

With a population of just under 2,000, Canyonville is reminiscent of the local Pioneers and the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians histories. The townsite is on the Applegate Trail, platted in 1858 and in 1901 became the 2nd incorporated town in Oregon.
